of up to 7.2 Mbps, with a faster connection being available thanks to Wi-Fi,
whenever users have access to local wireless networks. Bluetooth and micro USB
connections are also provided allowing the handset to be connected to other
compatible devices. GPS with A-GPS support allows features such as Google Maps
and the digital compass as well as geo-tagging to function.
The Samsung Galaxy S is equipped with a digital camera
boasting an impressive 5 megapixels. Thanks to its high pixel resolution, it is
capable of taking high quality still images with the minimum of fuss due to
features such as touch focus, autofocus and face & smile detection. The
camera can of course shoot video, and this is in 720p quality.
The operating system of choice is Android v2.1, which works
alongside a powerful 1 GHz processor to provide a great user experience as well
as supporting additional downloaded apps from the Android Market.
